Internet Rookie?
Take your organization to the next level
Your business is just now thinking of developing an online presence. Is it too late? Of course not! At DMG, we specialize in working with companies and other organizations to assit them in their online transformation. To get started, take a few minutes and read the next few paragraphs.

Step 1 - Define your goals
The most important step in developing your new website is to set your goals. Why do you want a website? What do you expect it to achieve for your organization? A website can provide easy access for customers who do business with you to find more information about your products. It can offer purchasing advice. It can also highlight upcoming sales and events your business might have. If you sell rare items, a website can help alert potential buyers around the world about your current inventory. If you run a restaurant, a website featuring a menu and a phone number can help boost delivery sales. You could even use a simple menu online to entice people into your restaurant. Photos of the interior of your business and small bits of information about employees can also help make your business more familiar to customers, making them feel more relaxed and comfortable while shopping, eating, or otherwise doing business with you. These are just some ideas. Each website has a different set of goals tailored specifically to the organization the website represents.

Step 2 - Define your image
After defining your website goals, the next step is to define your company image. Start by gathering what you already have; your business cards, letterheads, signage, anything of that nature will work. Take some pictures of your establishment and employees/co-workers. Put everything in a pile and while looking at each piece, try to come up with a theme or an "image" that represents your organization and try to make it as appealing as possible to a general audience. Once you have this "image" in mind, write a few paragraphs describing it and build on to it if you desire. Scribble pictures and keywords that set you apart from the competition.

Step 3 - Contact us
After you've completed the first two steps, it's time to contact us. Even if you are having trouble defining your goals or image, we can give you some pointers to get you headed in the right direction. We can refine your plan, offer professional advice, and get started creating your new online presence.
